Happy New Year

We made it through the holidays and most of the bowl season and what did we learn?  That the Big Ten(?) is not as dead as everyone had thought.  That no defense is required to win a National Championship.  That you shouldn't post pictures of your trip, less someone breaks into your house and sells all of your stuff on TV.  That we Michigan fans are over the moon on the return of the prodigal son.  That, evidently, a 25 point fourth quarter lead is not enough.
So know we wait for the big game between Nike U and the B*ckeyes.  Can't say that i am a big fan of either team.  I've had the Ducks let me down vs OHFU before and I fully expect them to do it again.  With the game being played in the Crappy House that Jerry Built I'll probably find an old episode of Murder She Wrote.  Final-OHFU 110  Nike U 104.
Jim Harbaugh has returned to where he belongs.  I am more excited about Michigan football than I have been in over a decade.  One of the issues that Rich Rod ran into at U of M will not be an issue with Khaki Jim.  He had a tough time dealing with those that did not want a non-Michigan man coaching the team.  Good luck and God speed Mr Harbaugh.
We are 46 days away from pitchers and catchers.  Mighty Max is still looking for someone to drive up in their Brinks truck.  It should be an interesting battle between the Sox and Yankees.  Plus the Padres haven't made a deal in a few days.  Preller must be still hungover.
Happy birthdays to Bobby Hull, Michael Schumaker and Bucco, AJ Burnett.
